SD Card Reading Writing Module for Arduino with the onboard 3.3V regulator. This SD Card module can make your SD application easier and simple. Through programming, you can read and write to the SD card using your Arduino. With the help of this module, it can use for SD Card more easily, such as for MP3 Player, MCU/ARM system control.
It can be easily interfaced as a peripheral to your Arduino, and other embedded boards and microcontrollers. Through programming, you can read and write to the SD card over the SPI interface. This module can handle 2GB SD cards.

The SD card module has 6 pins to establish connection: 2 for power and 4 to establish a SPI connection (Serial Peripheral Interface).
- 5V or 3.3V for powering the module
- GND for the ground
- CS or Chip Select to activate communication
- MISO (Master Input, Slave Output) transmission pin, equivalent to Serial port pin Tx. Module output.
- MOSI (Master Output, Slave Input) Reception pin equivalent to Serial port pin Rx. Module input.
- SCK Clock to synchronize the devices

This SD/MMC card breakout for your application data logging and acquisition. It allows you to breakout the microSD/SD/MMC socket to a standard 2.54mm-pin header. It is used in SPI Mode interface.
The module can work with 5V or 3.3V power supply, and both 5V/3.3V IO operation level. It can be controlled directly by a wide range of microcontrollers.
Note: If you use 3.3V power supply, please switch to 3.3V side.
