Flux, Aluminium Soldering Liquid Flux 10mL
Flux, Aluminium soldering liquid flux is used for soldering aluminium to aluminium, aluminium to copper or brass and terminals by using only tin soldering iron.
Features:
• High activity.
• Compatible with all tin alloy even 40/60 alloy.
• The post-solder residues can be cleaned with water.
• Mildly acidity.
• 10mL is enough for soldering a lot of terminals of lithium polymer battery and thin aluminium strips in a few seconds with usage only soldering iron (Min. 80 Watt) at the room temperature.
Usage Recommendations (very important):
• Clean the surface with thinner or any solvent without any residues or dust (Don't use sandpaper or steel wool for cleaning!).
• Shake before using then put a little bit of flux before soldering.
• Use soldering iron compatible with target size (Min. 80 Watt).
• Use any Tin-Lead alloy and 40/60 alloy.
• Keep the soldering tip for enough time on the soldering area till the weld pool has been reached (Min. 20 sec.) because the weld pool is central to the success of the soldering process.
Notes:
• For best results, follow the usage recommendations.
• If the power of the soldering iron (watt) is high, the soldering will be fast and high quality.
• It's recommended to customize a soldering iron for soldering aluminum only!
• Keep the soldering tip touching the soldering area during soldering process without movement!
• Use water or any solvent such as, thinner or any alcohol for cleaning after soldering.
• Use a wet soldering sponge & mini wire brush during cleaning the tip.
• It is preferable to train your hand on soldering aluminium strips in different sizes, because soldering aluminium or aluminium alloys has a specific technique, and it is one of the most inert chemical affinity metals with oxygen (very oxygen-bonded!).
• Close the bottle tightly after using to maintain of flux activator.
• Not suitable with welding by fusion or flame.
Safety Precautions:
• Wearing safety glasses and gloves is recommended when using.
• Perform the process in a well-ventilated area.
• Don’t breathe soldering fumes.
• Close after using & keep away from children.
• Use enough water when eyes or wounds are touched.
Appearance: The flux is a viscous liquid, packaged in a plastic bottle - (Net Capacity) 10mL.
